Aim of the game is to make as many words as possible from the 4x4 jumbled grid that we will be giving you. The words can be connected in any direction as long as they are next to one another.
It is a 10 round game and in every round you will be given 20 seconds.
You have to make words that are atleast 3 letters long. Based on the length of the word, you will get more points.
The letters can be connected in any direction as long as they are next to one another.
To create a word, click on a letter tile using your mouse, then click on any adjacent letter tile to select the next letter in the word. When you have finished spelling out your word, double-click on the last letter tile in the word.
If you have completed spelling out your word and press the check button, the game will check whether it is an acceptable word or not. If it is then it will be added, and if its not then it will be deleted.
At any time during the game, you can re-scramble the letter tiles by clicking on the rotate button. Use this function if you run out of word combinations.
If you have selected a letter and do not want to use it, please click on that letter and that entire word will be taken out. If you want to keep the first letter of the word you are trying to make, then please click on the first letter of the word you were trying to make and the other letters after that will not be selected.
+ 200 points for every 3 letter word.
+ 400 points for every 4 letter word.
+ 800 points for every 5 letter word.
+ 1600 points for every 6th letter word.
+ 3200 points for every 7th letter word.
+ 6400 points for every 8 th letter word.
The points for the words will be shown next to the word in the box on the right hand side.
Only words in the official English dictionary are permitted. No foreign words, no proper nouns, no abbreviations, no slang, etc. are permitted. You may only submit a particular word once per game, but you are free to submit plurals and other variants of the word.
All words are validated in real-time by the game's dictionary. Any invalid words will be rejected, and no points will be awarded. There is no scoring penalty for making invalid words, but they do waste valuable time on the clock.
